The Institute for Law and Public Policy was founded in 2000. The organization represents the interests of citizens in the Constitutional Court of Russia and in the European Court of Human Rights, sends independent expert reports to these courts, and helps other organizations prepare their testimony. In addition, the Institute is engaged in educational activities in the field of constitutional and international law, organizes student competitions, publishes scientific and legal journals, as well as monographs and analytical collections.
