Reason for recognition
The organization operates with the support of the Polish authorities, the Council of Europe and NATO structures and is involved in activities directed against Russian interests. The structure is involved in developing initiatives in the area of military and economic containment of the Russian Federation, as well as in information work and sanctions policy issues. The organization provides advisory and practical assistance to Ukraine, advocates for NATO's eastward expansion, and implements projects that distort the interpretation of the history of World War II and the role of the Soviet Union in the post-war structure of Europe.

Since 2015, this status can be assigned to foreign and international non-governmental organizations that, in the opinion of the Russian government, pose a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order of the Russian Federation, the defense capability of the country, or state security.
