The mission of the Glasnost Defense Foundation is to create a legal space for media activities and protect the interests of the media. The foundation’s work includes legal and human rights assistance to journalists and media representatives, monitoring violations of the rights of journalists and the media, conducting scientific research on the range of legal and ethical issues of journalism, as well as providing practical assistance to the families of dead journalists and media workers in critical situations.
