'Golos-Povolzhye' started its work more than 20 years ago. At first, it acted as a regional public organization that was engaged in protecting the rights of voters, but in 2006, 'Golos-Povolzhye' officially became a non-profit foundation for supporting democracy. The foundation’s activity is to monitor the elections of all levels of government and the work of the elected authorities of the Volga Region.
