A public movement dealing with the protection of the rights and social adaptation of sexual and gender minorities. The movement was founded in May 2006. On October 19, 2008, the organization was transformed into the Interregional Public Movement “Russian LGBT Network,” Igor Kochetkov was elected as its chairman. It is the first and only interregional LGBT organization in Russia. The Russian LGBT Network is a member of the International Lesbian and Gay Association.
