Istories fonds is a Latvian foundation, support center for independent journalism, publisher of the Internet media "Important Stories", specializing in investigative journalism. From its founding in May 2020 to being recognized as a "foreign agent", the publication has issued a number of investigations about the oligarchs' real estate, the environmental monitoring system in Russia, the FSB, and medicine during the pandemic. In addition to investigating and reporting, Important Stories hosted an online workshop with courses on Excel data and Python libraries for journalists.
