Independent Latvian media Meduza Project was created in 2014 by Galina Timchenko, the former editor-in-chief of Lenta.ru. The project publishes materials in Russian and English, is the leader in the number of monthly journalistic awards "Editorial Board" - it has become a laureate 26 times. Editorial materials are often discussed on social networks and the professional journalistic community.
