“The Anti-Corruption Fund was created by Alexander Turovsky in July of 2020, a week before the closure of the legal entity ‘The Anti-Corruption Fund’ (FBK) of Alexey Navalny was announced. In 2017, Turovsky was a volunteer at Navalny’s Moscow headquarters but later became disillusioned with the activities of Navalny’s FBK.

According to the Ministry of Justice, the only source of funding for Turovsky’s organization came from an unknown Ukrainian citizen. In 2020, the organization received 42 thousand rubles from this person, which was spent solely on the maintenance of its bank account.
