The oldest environmental organization of St. Petersburg, 'Green Peace' has been monitoring safety at the Leningrad NPP for 28 years. The activists were nuclear scientists and former employees of the power plant. To study the world experience of closing nuclear power plants that have exhausted their resources, the 'Green Peace' arranged joint trips of parliamentarians and representatives of the nuclear business to Sweden, Finland and the United States. Based on the results of the trips, round tables were held and documentaries were shot.
