Legal entity of the “Project.” The media was founded in 2018 by the former editor-in-chief of TV Rain, Roman Badanin. It specialized on anti-corruption investigations, including materials about entrepreneurs and high-ranking officials. The texts were based on big data analytics. The loudest stories published in the “Project”: the cycle “Iron Masks” with investigations about the alleged “second wife” of Ramzan Kadyrov, publications about the activities of PMC “Wagner,” materials about “Putin’s palace.”

On June 15, 2021, Project Media, Inc. was recognized as an “undesirable” organization.
