The reason to include Ilyukhin into the register of foreign agents was that he organized 'events against the government,' expressed disrespect to the authorities, criticized Putin and the United Russia party, 'inspired protest activites' in the Arkhangelsk Oblast, in particular he persuaded physicians to record an address to Putin on the salary issue in January 2024. Ilyukhin's blog on 7х7 website and reposts of other foreign agents, former deputy of the Moscow City Duma Evgeny Stupin and blogger Ilya Varlamov were considered as 'foreign influence'.
