The Center of Independent Researchers of the Altai Republic is an environmental organization. In 2011, she demanded to stop the designing of the Altai gas pipeline, citing the fact that some of the work is being carried out on the territory of the natural park. In 2015, it was included in the register of 'foreign agents'. After that, the organization ceased its activities and was liquidated in 2017.
